Happy Easter!

We've been too busy to blog lately so here's a run down.

We went to visit cousins in Idaho. The boys taught Jack wonderful things like throwing rocks into muddy canals, wrestling, and how to pee tanding up. Good life lessons.

We've been building stuff. (Nails and screws in a box. He was in heaven)

Jack's been practicing his photography skills. Not bad! He managed to get my whole face in this one. 1 out of 500, but it's good to actually be in a picture for once.

We've gone to the park.

We visited Tracy Aviary.

We play in the sandbox...a lot.

We've had lots of Easter Egg hunts. One was even in the dark which was very fun with flashlights and glow sticks in some of the eggs.
We've taken a few naps (I couldn't get this to rotate, but it looks equally uncomfortable any way you look at it).
We've played some bathtub basketball.
 And blown bubbles.
And eaten a whole lot of chocolate.

It's been a good spring so far and we're living up every minute of it.

Crafty Me and Tyler

Cute Tyler has two little teeth that are just about ready to pop out and as a result he is chomping on everything in sight.  He is also very grabby and I have several necklaces that are now casualties and I can no longer wear any sort of jewelry without impending peril to them.  I remembered seeing some cute teething necklaces online that I thought might be the perfect solution, but they were all entirely too expensive for what they were and I decided I could make them myself for way cheaper - so today I did.

Look how cute they turned out! So simple, and I was able to make 5 for the same price I could have purchased one online. Love it.

Ty was checking it out first...
Then he dove right in.  Delicious! Problem solved. And now I have great baby shower gifts
Speaking of Ty, he is so close to crawling. I need to pull out my baby gate and baby proof everything. Jack didn't crawl until he was almost 1 so having a mobile 8 month old is going to be a new experience.
