Last night Hardy took me to dinner and a show for my birthday. It was great to have a real date and enjoy some time with my dear husband. We purchased season tickets to the Capitol Theater this year and last night was our first show, "The Wedding Singer." We were both excited since we love the movie. I was expecting lots of great costumes and 80's music which are what make the movie so great. For those who may in the future have the opportunity to see this show...it has neither great costumes nor fun 80's music and is only loosely based on the movie. So, it was fun to get out, but not what we expected and somewhat of a disapointment. Not bad, just not what we were expecting.
On a good note, we ran into my Visiting Teaching partner on the shuttle ride back to our car and were able to set up a time to go do visits.
